West Street Potters were looking for a website to help streamline their administrative processes. They needed e-commerce web design in order to offer online booking and payment for their courses. Their existing website was well used as a source of information by their members but was lacking in style and was difficult to navigate using a smartphone or tablet.
E-commerce website design
The addition of an e-commerce solution means that existing members can sign up for their courses and pay online – removing a significant workload from the team. In addition, one off classes can be sold online with no extra work being created.
Moving from WordPress.com to fully functional WordPress
The old West Street Potters site was built using WordPress.com. This platform has many of the benefits of fully functional self-hosted WordPress but West Street Potters had got to the point where they needed more. We moved the existing site content (including over 600 blog posts) and set the site up with a fully responsive theme.
